Aggregates

Aggregates are produced in Bornova and Arka Vadi Aggregate Facilities and our facilities realize production in a sensitive way to the environment with its jet filters prevention dust emission. Arka Vadi Aggregate Facility is one of the first facilities producing in a totally closed area in Turkey and it is the most environmental friendly facility in the region. Production capacity of each aggregate facility is 400 tons/hour and two facilities produce aggregates with a capacity of 800 tons/hour in total.

Bornova and Arka Vadi Aggregate Facilities produce in compliance with TS 706 EN 12620 standard. The aggregates are controlled for compliance with the standards with samples taken throughout all the processes of production and stocking.

6. Volume Stability – Drying Shrinkage
The value of volume stability-drying shrinkage as specified in accordance with TS EN 1367-4 standard does not exceed 0,075%.
7. Alkali Silica Reactivity
The aggregates do not include reactive silica minerals that may cause alkali silica reactivity.
1. Petrographic Identification
Its petrographic root is limestone.
2. Chloride Content
Its chloride content is 0,002%.
3. Total Sulfur Content
Total sulfur content as determined in accordance with TS EN 1744-1 standard is at 0,03%.
4. Sulfide Soluble in Acid
The category for the value of highest sulfide content soluble in acid is AS0,2.
